We have never had a student not pass. Even if you are not wanting to take an exam it presents a balanced and comprehensive program of study for the serious student. Students should be taking one hour lessons in order to cover all the requirements.
Students who have completed this course of study with me have played with the PGSO and gone on to careers in music. Students will be playing at a massively higher level than if they just take music in school. Ensemble participation is recommended at the school level and/or in our studio ensembles. Most student who do this with me go far beyond the grade 8 level. This enables them to play in local ensembles and be musical leaders.
